Marine Fire Extinguishers
Territory Fire provides a comprehensive range of high quality, cost-effective, fire extinguishers, hose reels, stands and cabinets.
Our marine fire extinguishers are designed and produced to the latest BS EN3 and relevant International Marine Approvals such as IMO SOLAS, Lloyds Register of Shipping, US Coast Guard and Australian Maritime Safety Association.
Water & Water Additives
Water extinguishers are suitable for Class A fires caused by the combustion of solid materials, mainly of organic origin such as: wood, paper, straw, textiles, coal, etc.. These extinguishers are available as either full jet or ultra-spray versions. Water additive extinguishers use an environmentally friendly additive that greatly enhances the performance.
Foam spray extinguishers (AFFF Aqueous Film Forming Foam) are best suited for Class B flammable liquid risks where they represent a direct hazard. Foam spray extinguishers are especially suitable for Class B fires involving flammable liquids such as oils, spirits, fats and certain plastics. The blanketing effect of foam spray gives rapid knock down which smothers the flame and thus prevents re-ignition of flammable vapours by sealing the surface of the solution.
Carbon Dioxide extinguishers are suitable for class B risks involving flammable liquids and are best choice for general electrical hazards. CO2 is harmless to electrical equipment and is ideal for modern offices, electronic risks and fires causes by the combustion of liquids such as oils, fats, solvents, etc.
The 2kg size has a 55B fire rating and incorporates a “safe to hold” horn which not only gives a benefit from increased performance but also prevents frost burn to the user. The carbon dioxide used is a recovered industrial by-product, thereby reducing the carbon levels contributing to the greenhouse effect.
Dry Powder fire extinguishers are suitable for mixed fire risk environments and are especially suited for flammable liquids and fires involving flammable gases such as methane, propane, hydrogen, natural gas, etc. This range offers a combination of fire performance and ease of service.
Wet Chemical (class F)
These extinguishers have been specially produced for Class F fire risks involving cooking oils.
